| TOP250 Golf-courses in the European Union |
The following list and corresponding map contain arguably the best 250 golf-courses
you can find in the European Union. It is not final (there are 9 vacancies), and it will change in time.
Still, most people will agree on the choices made.
If you have the privilege to play on any of these courses, you won’t be disappointed
(maybe by the greenfees; they can be hefty, and range from around 50 Euro at Trevose Golf Club
to over 400 Euro at Wentworth (for an 18-hole round of golf)).
Handicap-certificates, letters of introduction or introduction by members can be required.
Check the websites for the local policy on these matters. The ‘Old Course’ of Saint Andrews
has a ballot 48 hours nowadays before your tee off (if you are selected).
